the Irish Data and Cloud Cluster
European Cloud and Data Analytics
90% of the world’s data was created in the last two years. Every day our lives become more digital, driving a huge appetite to store and drive value from data. At a time when many organisations are looking to reduce costs, how can they start to manage data more efficiently?
If you are an established company or a start up struggling with data, Ireland can be the answer you are looking for.
In the last two years over $700 million dollars have been invested on the island of Ireland in cloud and data infrastructure alone. The island of Ireland is committed to leveraging this to becoming a European Centre for Excellence in Research, Development and Innovation in Cloud Computing and Data Analytics. The Irish Government is investing over $15 million dollars in two new industry led International Technology Research Centres in Data Analytics and Cloud Computing.
The IDCC is a multi sector initiative which represents Irish based cloud computing and data analytics firms, both multinational and indigenous, on national and European levels through the Irish Government's official Enterprise Ireland/ IDA Ireland Clustering Programme.
To help your organisation the Cluster and Ireland achieve these goals the IDCC will support you in the following areas
